THE MEDIA

The israeli government I despise
For murdering innocent palestine in large size
Then they cry foul "we have been murdered and cheated"
The USgovt and the media Report stories truth Diluted.!

I really dislike what the world is turning into
The hegemonic power the zionists and the media have I despise too
However in future we see a paradigm shift
And the hands of history will present a bitter gift..!

The USA and the Isreal see themselves as super powers
Forgetting there is Allah who has the ultimate POwer
If they persist in this dubious act
There fall would not just be the economic debt but with much imPAct..!

With the way things are going
My trust in media declining
Cos all I hear everyday is distorted truth and facts
media Propaganda is full of controversial shit and acts

Now, we muslims should nt be benchwarmers
We should ask for change in all corners
Lets establish our own medium/ media
Am tired of seeing islamic programmes only during rAmaADan...!!!

P.s the media saturates our everyday lives we are often unconscious about their presence not to talk of its influence!

HAJJ IS WORSHIP.

In Arabic the word Ibaadah (ةدابع) worship is a noun composed of all which pleases Allah (s.w.t) whether the deeds are ones intentions (action of the heart), sayings (action of the tongue) or actions (bodily actions).
Unfortunately Hajj is also one the ritual acts where many people involve themselves in shirkiyat (polytheism) and bidah (innovation), we have to be aware of these and avoid them.
Imam Ali (r.a) said: “What a noise in hajj, but very few are performing hajj” and that was in the time Ali (r.a) where people are supposed to be closer to the wahi (revelation)!
Today Muslims may perform Hajj according to their own interpretation; this is not allowed as the ritual act has a form which must be in accordance with what the Messenger (s.a.w) brought us. There many evidences for this.
The Messenger (s.a.w) said “Take (learn) your ritual acts from me” [Ahmed]
The Messenger (s.a.w) said “”He who does an act which our matter [Islam] is not [in agreement] with will have it rejected.””[Muslim]
We are ordered by Allah (s.w.t) to follow the Messenger Muhammad (s.a.w)
Say: “If you (really) love Allah then follow me (the Messenger (s.a.w)), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [EMQ 3:31]
And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad S.A.W) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it) [EMQ 59:7]
Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad S.A.W) you have a good example [EMQ 33:21]
The Messenger (s.a.w) specifically warned us from innovating in the deen.
He (s.a.w) said “And the worst of all affairs are newly-invented matters and every innovation is a misguidance, and every misguidance is in the fire of Hell.” [Abu Dawud] [Tirmidhi].
HAJJ IS OBLIGATORY
It is obligatory on the Muslim who fulfils the conditions for going to Hajj, to perform it at least once in their lifetime. Abu Hurairah (r.a) reported: Allah’s Messenger (s.a.w) addressed us and said:
“O people, Allah has made Hajj obligatory for you; so perform hajj.”
Thereupon a person said: Messenger of Allah, (is it to be performed) every year? He (the Prophet) kept quiet, and he repeated (these words) thrice, whereupon Allah’s Messenger (s.a.w) said: If I were to say” Yes,” it would become obligatory (for you to perform it every year) and you would not be able to do it…” [Muslim]

'' A Piece Of Reminder'' (Islam Denounces Terrorism)

As Muslims, we strongly condemn the terrorist attacks on two major cities of the United States of America on September 11, 2001, which caused the death and injury of thousands of innocent people. i know some of you wil be wondereing why dis guy is stil talkin about dis issue(sept 11),as muslims we must always endeavour to educate ourselves at all time & as wel remind ourselves on some highly cogent & salient bt anticipated issues. so dnt see it as somtin ludicrous or somhow obnoxious,;its just a reminder for each and every1 of us.

the source of the terror that we condemn is definitely not from a divine religion, and as such,we must remember & be very much aware that there is no room for terrorism in Islam. This is made clear in the Qur'an, the main source of Islam, and in the practices of all true Muslim rulers, the Prophet Muhammad (saas) being the foremost of them.

We need to keep in mind that, among those who were killed in New York and Washington, there were people who loved the Prophet Jesus (as) (Christians), the Prophet Moses (as) (Jews) and the Prophet Muhammad (saas) (Muslims). Unless forgiven by Allah, murdering innocent people is a great sin that leads to torment in Hell. No one who is religious and fears Allah would do such a thing.

Religion commands love, mercy and peace. Terror, on the other hand, is cruel, merciless and demands bloodshed and misery. This being the case, the origins of terrorist acts should be sought in disbelief rather than in religion. The name or the identity of the triggerman is not important. If he can kill innocent people without blinking an eye, then he is a nonbeliever, not a believer. For this reason, "Islamic terror," "Christian terror" or "Jewish terror" are all erroneous concepts which contradict the message of divine religions.

True religion can by no means countenance terrorism. On the contrary, terror (i.e. the murder of innocent people) in Islam is a great sin, and Muslims are responsible for preventing these acts and bringing peace and justice to the world.

in the light of the verses of the Qur'an and with examples from history, it has been stated clearly that Islam forbids terrorism and aims to bring peace and security to the world.

may Allah(swt) forgive us in all our shortcomings, guide us aright & make us die as muslims & nt kafiruns....ameen

TRUE STORY

A woman baked bread for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra bread on the Window-sill, for whosoever would take it away. Everyday, a hunch-back came and took away the bread. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words as he went his way: "The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" This went on, day after day. Everyday, the hunch-back came, picked up the bread and uttered the words: "The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" The woman felt irritated. "Not a word of gratitude," she said to herself... "Everyday this hunch-back utters this jingle! What does he mean? "One day, out of  desperation, she decided to do away with him. "I shall get rid of this hunch-back," she said. And what did she do? She added poison to the bread she prepared for him! As she was about to keep it on the window sill, her hands trembled. "What is this I am doing?" she said. Immediately she threw the bread into the fire, prepared another one and kept it on the window- sill. As usual, the hunch-back came, picked up the bread and muttered the words: "The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" The hunch-back proceeded on his way, blissfully unaware of the war raging in the mind of the woman.Everyday, as the woman placed the bread on the window-sill, she offered a prayer for her son who had gone to a distant place to seek his fortune. For many months, she had no news of him.. She prayed for his safe return. That evening, there was a knock on the door. As she opened it, she was surprised to find her son standing in the doorway.. He had grown thin and lean. His garments were tattered and torn. He was hungry, starved and weak. As he saw his mother, he said, "Mom, it's a miracle I'm here. While I was but a mile away, I was so hungry that I collapsed. I would have died, but just then an old hunch-back passed by. I begged of him for a small part of his food, and he was kind enough to give me whole bread. "As he gave it to me, he said,"This is what I eat everyday: today, I shall give it to you, for your need is greater than mine!" "As the mother heard those words, her face turned pale and red. She leaned against the door for support. She remembered the poisoned bread that she had made that morning. Had she not burnt it in the fire, it would have been eaten by her own son, and he would have lost his life! It was then that she realized the significance of the words: "The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" Do good and; Don't ever stop doing good, even if it’s not appreciated at that time.

The DAWn

The Dawn of another era I see
When it will dawn and muslims would be free
From media propaganda and Western Shit
Muslims would be one, there Race inconsequential
For in Allah we place our trust, no Denial.

The dawn of another era I see
When more peole would troupe into islam
The kalimah they will say with so much pride
Am now a muslim they say
And I will worship Allah everyday.

The dawn of another era I see
Muslims youth would alienate misplaced affection
For materialism from there minds and action
And they will turn rise up for change in islam
And they would be steadfast in deen-il-Islam.

The dawn of another era I see
The dawn as a group, will grow in iman and size
And managers will do dawah on the rise
The group shall raise the flag of islam high
We are muslims youths, they will chant right.

The dawn of another era I see
We Muslimah's and Hijabie's would no longer be ignored by the streets,
We would be respected as intelligent, brilliant and modest Chicks
Guys would lower there gaze and treat us in a respectable manner
They would say "this is to the chastity, integrity and dignity of every muslimah.

prophet Muhammed (SAW)

When humiliated, remember the Prophet (SAW) in Ta'if.

When starving, remember the Prophet (SAW) tying two stones to his stomach in the battle of Khandaq.

When becoming angry, remember the Prophet (SAW)'s control of anger at the martyrdom of his beloved uncle Humazah (RA).

When suffering an injury, remember the Prophet (SAW) losing a tooth in the battle of Uhud.

When feeling lonely, remember the Prophet (SAW) being shunned by his people in Makkah.

When feeling tired during salaah, remember the Prophet (SAW)'s blessed feet swelling during Tahajjud salaah.

When being troubled by neighbors, remember the old woman who would empty rubbish on the Prophet (SAW).

When losing a child, remember the Prophet (SAW)'s loss of his son, Ibrahim.

When beginning a long journey, remember the Prophet (SAW)'s long journey to Makkah.

When losing someone close, remember the Prophet (SAW)'s departure from this world.

When you feel like ignoring a Sunnah, remember the Prophet (SAW)'s intercession: "Ummati! Ummati!" (My Ummah! My Ummah!)

When becoming an orphan, remember the Prophet (SAW) at the age of six.

WHATEVER SITUATION YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF IN, REMEMBER YOUR ROLE MODEL, THE BEST OF CREATION - THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD SalAllahu Alayhi Wasallam...

Ramadan

Now Ramadan is here, its here,
Ramadan oh so dear, so dear.

During this month we fast,
Opportunity for our good deeds to amass.

From food and drink we abstain,
Satan this month is put on a chain.

Wake late in the night for Tahajjud,
Pray like you really truly should.

Duas at this early hour readily accepted
Almighty ALLAH hears all, the Most Elevated.

Then eat your delicious Suhoor food,
Throughout the day don’t be in a mood.

Muslims fast all over worldwide,
Rewards in this month multiplied.

Your eyes will soon open up wide,
Looking at all those foods fried.

But dont just anxiously await the iftaar,
Make dua, ask to be kept from sins afar.

Recite the Holy Quran so much,
Each and every sunnah try to clutch.

Make good speech your norm,
Extra Nafl salaah do perform.

Having kept your fast during the day,
At night Taraaweeh stand and pray.

Practise the beautiful way of our Prophet صلّى الله عليه وسلّم

And for eternity hereafter increase your profit.

DEATH

DEATH
When I was sick and ill
I look beyond the sky and wonder about my ills
Thinking about my life
And saying to myself how it did not worth that while
Then the fear of death gripped me
Then I screamed please let me be
Then I muttered “OH ALLAH”
Grant me paradise
The house of the wise
The abode of the faithful’s
The resting place of the helpful and grateful’s
And I said to myself if its time
To say bye to my lifetime
Then, am prepared for death
Of which I don’t fear
But!!! Wait!!
I never got to apologize
For that other day at the class
Or got to pray at that appropriate time
I never got to tell her and him that it waz wrong
Neither did I warn them of hell
I never got to say salam alaykum to that brother or sister
Neither did I offer half my bread to that sister
I never got to smile at the baby sitter
and the old man that cleaned the litter
OH MY!! What a waste!
I ignored all these small things
And only thought of those big things
Now! No time to go back
Death is already on my back
For those of us who are still alive
And still living that bad life
This is an opportunity for you to do good deeds
And encourage others to do good deeds
Because all this will count on judgment day
May Almighty Allah make us inmate of paradise on that day

SEVEN THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU GRADUATE

SEVEN PLANS TO MAKE BEFORE YOU GRADUATE
By this time next year, insh AllAH every one of us would have graduated but wait people, seriously what are we going to do when we graduate? I wonder because unemployment is excessively high and Visa Abroad to Europe is getting tougher to get.
Everyday am faced with stories (sad ones) of graduating students with so many tales of unemployment and poor remuneration. You would all agree with me that after almost five years in university (LASU) for that matter, not getting a well-paid job can be quite frustrating. Therefore, i came up with this note overnight trying to proffer solutions.
I pray this help a little.

1.     The first is drawing up a plan “don’t forget he who fails to plan, plans to fail”
We should draw up a plan of what to do, where to work and probably structure our lives to follow this plan. Between these plans should be made carefully, don’t forget you are planning for your FUTURE!!!!
2.

Reshuffling our cabinet of friends (don’t forget friends can either make or mar you)
3.

Working hard to graduate with the best grade. First class is not a bad idea at all, but if not achievable we can strive towards second class upper. We all know that jobs nowadays are getting tougher and much more competitive so we should try and get good grades to give us an edge over others.  May Allah make it easy. Ameen!
4.

Working with professionals on the field, volunteering or interning in organisations that will broaden our horizon of knowledge, add colour to our CV’s and of course connect with people in the field.
Also getting a professional certificates like APCON, NIJ or FRCN training school which is far more cheaper than the other professional certificates and also it is well respected in the mass communication circle.
5.

Improve your relationship with people, be kind to people, smile to people, make friends with people of different backgrounds, race, color, tribe and religion and perhaps age (who says an older person is old school! They are way smarter than our generation)
6.

Getting yourself a profitable venture that will generate money for you so that you will not have to depend on scholarships, begging from family members etc. in my class I respect guys like Adekoya Dare who have made it big through his brand “Bizzy Brain”. Raphael who has made it from editing pictures and designing. Bee Kay from Makeover and so many other inspiring people in our class.
Between also save for the raining days because economic meltdown is way still manifesting in our country.
7.

In addition, I guess the final thing but most importantly is putting God first in everything you do and making prayers at all times and giving Gratitude to Almighty Allah at all times.
