WHAT YOU CAN DO IN ONE MINUTE

Strive to make the utmost use of each minute of your life, as we would all account for each seconds, minutes, we spent on earth in the hereafter.
People have been accustomed to wasting time on frivolities and inanities, as Muslims in one minute, by giving charity, studying, memorizing the Quran and some other relevant books, you can also strive to do good deed etc. you can make sure that this minute of your life is not wasted, one minute may be recorded in your book of good deeds if you know how to make the most use of it and take care of it.
Strive to make the most of each minute, there follows a list of the things that can be done in one minute some listed by Muhammad S. al Munajjid
·        In one minute you can recite Surat Al-Fatiha 3 times reciting rapidly and silently. Surat al fatihah is the most superior surah in the holy Quran
Bukhari :: Book 6 :: Volume 61 :: Hadith 528 Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Mu'alla:
While I was praying, the Prophet called me but I did not respond to his call. Later I said, "O Allah's Apostle! I was praying." He said, "Didn't Allah say: 'O you who believe! Give your response to Allah (by obeying Him) and to His Apostle when he calls you'?" (8.24)
He then said, "Shall I not teach you the most superior Surah in the Qur'an?" He said, '(It is),
'Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. ' (i.e., Surat Al-Fatiha) which consists of seven repeatedly recited Verses and the Magnificent Qur'an which was given to me." subhannAllah you get rewarded so much in one minute by reading this surah.
·        In one minute, you can motivate your heart, give thanks to Allah, to love him, to fear him, to long for him and thus travel through the stages of uboodiyah (total enslavement to Almighty Allah) you could do this when you are lying on your bed or walking on the street.
·        In one minute, you can read more than two pages of a useful book that is easy to understand.
·        In one minute, you can uphold the ties of kinship by calling a relative on phone.
·        In one minute, you can say Salam and shake hands with a number of people in one minute.
·        In one minute, you can ask Almighty Allah for forgiveness
·        In one minute, you can call or visit your parents and say a little prayer for them and appreciate them.
·        In one minute you can avoid getting angry as the prophet says:  Narrated Abu Huraira: A man said to the Prophet, "Advise me!” The Prophet said, "Do not become angry and furious." The man asked (the same) again and again, and the Prophet said in each case, "Do not become angry and furious." (Bukhari: Book 8 :: Volume 73 :: Hadith 137)     lets learn to practice Sabr (patience) in every step of life as Allah loves As-Sabireen(the patient) & Almighty Allah is always with the As-Sabireen.
·        In one minute, you can be silent and avoid talking unnecessarily. Silence is the best answer for all questions. Nothing is as important as your character; know when to keep silent and when to speak up.
·         In one minute, you can apologize to those you have offended. The best way to get the last word is to apologize.
·        In one minute you can lend your hand to someone in need, take that chance indeed.
·        In one minute, you can learn a new thing about Islam by going through the Quran or through reading small pamphlets, newspapers, magazines and books. If we learn one new thing about our Deen every day we open our minds to a better day.
·        In one minute, you can appreciate the favor Almighty Allah has bestowed upon you and the gift of live by saying Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah).
·        In one minute you can smile and offer words of comfort to a friend or to another sister or brother. Kinds words can be short and easy to speak but their echoes are truly endless.
All this and more you can do in one minute earning more rewards from Almighty Allah thereby drawing you closer to Allah and closer to paradise.
Bukhari: Book 6 :: Volume 60 :: Hadith 472 Narrated Ali:
We were in the company of the Prophet and he said, "There is none among you but has his place written for him, either in Paradise or in the Hell-Fire." We said, "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we depend (on this fact and give up work)?" He replied, "No! Carry on doing good deeds, for everybody will find easy (to do) such deeds as will lead him to his destined place." Then the Prophet recited: 'As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah, and believes in the best reward. We will make smooth for him the path of ease....the path for evil.' (92.5-10)
“the best deeds to Allah are those that maybe small but constant. (Bukhari)
